The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, Gloucestershire
The Forest of Dean was reserved for royal hunting around 1066 and is one of the largest crown forests in the UK, with over 20 million trees, including oak, birch, ash, beech and holly trees. You will find very varied scenery and terrain and an extensive network of gravelled and paved paths, making it a great destination for cyclists of all abilities.

Grizedale Forest, The Lake District
Grizedale is located between Lakes Windemere and Coniston and is the perfect place to experience the Lakes during the autumn. Apart from the absolutely stunning backdrop, Grizedale offers plenty of different waymarked trails that meander through the forest on various roads and tracks. For experienced mountain bikers the North Face Mountain Bike Trail offers plenty of adventure.
