Bike to School Week!

Wow, I cannot believe it is already the end of September!  I am sure everyone has been busy re-establishing new routines with schools and works after long summer.

Unlike September last year, many of us started to going into school or office in person.  The question is how to commute.  There is still some uncertainty around COVID and the route that used to work before the pandemic might feel different now.  Last week's petrol crisis also reminded us about the limit of natural resources and the importance of not to rely on cars too much.  It is a good time to reevaluate your everyday travel.  Have you tried cycling?

It is therefore a perfect timing that Bike to School Week is upon us this week (Monday 27 September – Friday 01 October).  It is an opportunity to celebrate all the fantastic things schools are doing throughout the UK to encourage cycling.  Learning an active travel at young age can lead to sustainable life style in a long run.

To help you get involved, Sustrans has created a resource pack with fun activity ideas for schools to run across the week.  Please share what you have discover.  Don't forget cool helmets
