My colleague came across the store while visiting Louisiana and absolutely fell in love with it. We are beyond happy to have our helmets at Glitter Box. Our gorgeous glitter helmets obviously go so well with the store name, too. So that’s an added bonus.
Glitter Box showcases female artists and makers from across the globe. They also love to host workshops and support social justice groups of all sorts. For example, they recently ran a fabulous event for Mardi Gras. The future events include things like creative and therapeautic workshops, Tapestry Weaving, and Stitch & Bitch (love this!). This store alone sounds so fun that you would want to move to New Orleans just to get in on the excitement.
Even better, 10% of all sales go to nonprofits for the education and empowerment of women in New Orleans and beyond. It’s such a feel-good place from every angle. Make sure to check it out if you’re in the area!
